The next Working Bee and Open day scheduled is Saturday the 22nd of October.
If you are new to Crossroads or have just heard about it and would like to come along and see what all the fuss is about, this is the day to get involved. Contact the site manager Steve on 0428 282 775 and let him know you are interested in coming along. Bring a picnic lunch, your hiking shoes and lots of enthusiasm and come along and see what all the fuss is about.
If you want to help out with the working bee but aren't a member there are loads of small tasks that you can help with such as gardening, mowing and rock collecting. As this is a working bee, guests will be free to explore the property on their own as most members will be helping out getting jobs done.
Members - we would like to concentrate on the Hall, trying to get the flooring finished on the second floor as well as the outside steps being rebuilt to Australian Standards. If you were a part of the original flooring crew, then please contact Rob Bolin, our current Chairman who is looking for information on the previous work so that we can continue with the same standard.
Starts at 10am on Saturday morning and goes through till we have all had enough.
