BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION
Crossroads Christian Church currently rents a number of venues across Canberra to accommodate all our Sunday services.
Under God, we are starting to explore the possibility of acquiring a building that would, at a minimum, be able to host a single congregational meeting of 500 people. This is in line with our 2018-2023 Strategic Plan, as outlined at the 2018 AGM. We are exploring this for two main reasons, firstly to manage the long-term risk of losing access to suitable buildings to meet in and secondly to create new opportunities to serve the gospel in Canberra and beyond.
I am committed to working prayerfully and slowly with you as we tackle this complex issue with God's help. The Building Team has developed a process to allow us to slowly step through consideration of this matter. This process has many 'off ramps' as well as a final Church-wide vote before we would commit to owning a building. Please prayerfully consider this document, and take advantage of the many avenues to ask questions and have your say.
