Introduction: Comparison Culture

1. Comparing with the best (Matthew 19:23-30)

2. Comparing with the rest (Matthew 19:27-20:16)

3. Comparing ‘comparison culture’ to ‘amazing grace’.
i. Grace frees from comparison, allowing me be wrong before God
ii. Graces frees from comparison as it is the opposite of merit
iii. God’s grace can be received at Jesus’ cross
iv. God’s grace freely changes and transforms

Conclusion: Amazing Grace

Father, compared to you, I am not good. I’m a sinner.
And I need your generosity and grace.
Thank you that Jesus died on the cross to free me.
I receive your grace.
Please change my heart, not to earn my way to you
But to live freely live for you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
