This FREE, family-friendly event
helps our community celebrate
the joy of Christmas.
Come along with a picnic rug,
family and friends, to celebrate
Christmas with your local community.
What's on
5 pm Carnival
With food trucks, market stalls
and carnival activities
there will be something
for the whole family to enjoy.
7 pm Carols
Come and sing along to all your favourite carols.
With a mix of traditional and contemporary carols, as well as entertainment for the kids,
it’s sure to be a great night that has something for everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be easy parking?
There is lots of street parking available all around Dickson Oval. Please be mindful of our neighbours when parking.
Accessible Parking will be available next to the Majura Football Club on Antill Street for those with a disability parking permit.
The middle car park will be reserved for Carols in the Park volunteers, and parking there will require a Carols in the Park parking pass.

Can I get to the event using public transport?
You can take the light rail and get off at Dickson Interchange. It is a 20-minute walk from there.

Does it cost anything?
Entry is free. Carols in the Park is proudly brought to you by Crossroads Christian Church and our awesome sponsors.
While entry to the event is entirely free, there will also be a range of food trucks, market stalls, and carnival activities provided on the night that have associated costs.

What should I bring?
Whatever you would normally bring to a picnic! E.g. a picnic rug, your own seating if required, any food and drink.
There will be vendors selling food. No alcohol will be served on site.
We'd love to see your family and friends there and hear your singing voice!

What happens if it rains?
As Carols in the Park is an outdoor event, if there is heavy rain, we will have to cancel it.

Who is performing?
On the night, three bands will play carols for us. All the bands consist of volunteers from Crossroads Christian Church.
Are there toilets available?
There are toilets on site. Please refer to the park map for their locations.
An accessible toilet will be located at the northern toilet block, closest to the Antill Street car park.
